In-situ nanoindentation

Category:

Mainly used for indentation and scratch test of various metal materials, inorganic non-metallic materials and polymer materials.

Product Profile:

Main testing types: indentation/scratch test

It can be used for indentation and scratch test of various metal materials, inorganic non-metallic materials and polymer materials. The load-depth curve can be displayed directly by connecting computer. The basic mechanical parameters such as hardness and elastic modulus can be calculated directly according to the algorithm embedded in the software. The tester can be used independently to complete the mechanical properties test of materials. It can also use scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy (AFM) imaging devices to monitor the deformation, damage and morphology of samples in real time, and carry out in-situ mechanical test.

Technical advantages:

High precision testing (up to micron or even nanometer level);

It can be used independently to measure material parameters, especially to realize visual dynamic testing of material deformation and damage under load.

Light structure, low power consumption and small required area.
