Product Overview
Specifically, SINOTEST pipe burst testing machine determines the instantaneous hydraulic burst performance and long-term constant pressure resistance of various fluid transport plastic pipes. For this reason, it is an essential testing instrument for research institutes, quality inspection departments, and pipe manufacturers.
In terms of standards compliance, our hydrostatic pressure tester meets major international standards — including ISO 1167, ASTM D1598, and ASTM D1599. Consequently, test results are globally recognized and accepted for regulatory submissions.
Two-Level Monitoring
Specifically, this system offers two monitoring levels: Level 1 provides 1‑hour detailed monitoring, while Level 2 ensures comprehensive monitoring throughout the entire process. Moreover, the equipment includes a computer and printer, and features leakage detection, rupture identification, real‑time monitoring, power‑off pressure maintenance, power‑off data saving, and automatic data recovery upon power‑on. Additionally, it can print and store test results, and automatically calculate pressure formulas. For time‑curve display, the system synchronizes with the actual test time. If any abnormality occurs – such as leakage, pressure deviation, or incorrect water temperature – an alarm device sounds and stops that station, without affecting other stations.
Multi-Functional Functionality
First, the machine can perform long‑term hydrostatic pressure tests on pipelines as well as burst tests (each channel supports both burst and pressure tests). Second, it is also suitable for thermal stability testing of thermoplastic pipes under hydrostatic conditions. In addition, the first channel features dual solenoid valve pressure compensation, enabling burst testing of pipes up to 200 mm in diameter. Furthermore, each channel adopts multi‑stage energy storage pressure control, which ensures fast response, stable pressure regulation, and extends the service life of solenoid valves.
Dual-Pipe Circuit Structure
Traditionally, hydrostatic pressure testers supply pressure to a pressure‑replenishing valve, which then transmits pressure to the sample via pressure acquisition. The other end connects to a pressure relief valve, causing no backflow but a pressure difference between the sample and the sensor. To overcome this limitation, our product adopts an innovative design: the pressure control system uses a dual‑pipe circuit with independent pressure supply and pressure acquisition. Specifically, two pipes connect the pressure unit to the sample: one is a pressure‑replenishing pipe for pressure increase and release; the other pipe directly measures the sample pressure at the sample inlet, eliminating pressure differences.
Superior Quality
For long‑term reliability, the entire machine uses EU CE‑certified electronic components, German solenoid valves, and GEMS sensors. Consequently, it offers extremely high reliability and stability during extended operation. Moreover, the system achieves high efficiency with multiple test stations per line, low operating costs, and excellent economic benefits.
Wide Pressure Control Range
Each station has an independently adjustable pressure control range from 0.4 to 25 MPa.
Guaranteed High Reliability
All electrical, mechanical, and software components include safety protection measures against leakage, short circuits, static electricity, interference, seepage, power outages, misoperation, and water shortage. Additionally, the equipment features overload protection – if overload or leakage occurs, the machine automatically stops. An emergency stop switch is also provided; in case of malfunction or other emergencies, the operator can quickly press the emergency stop to prevent equipment damage.
Integrated Modular Assembly
The modular structure allows each module to have 5 or 6 stations. Every independent station operates autonomously and can be set arbitrarily between 0.2 MPa and full load. Importantly, a failure in one test station does not affect the normal operation of other stations.
Fully Functional
The system includes rupture detection, real‑time monitoring, power‑off pressure maintenance, power‑off protection, and automatic recovery upon power restoration. It also offers printing and storage of test results. The main control interface supports both Chinese and English, providing multi‑language operation. In addition, a pressure measuring device is included, with its reference plane aligned with the constant temperature medium chamber’s horizontal plane.
Highly User-Friendly Design
For flexible testing, the machine provides an automatic time increment option as well as manual time increments. This feature can compensate for invalid intermediate time and change the test pressure mid‑test, meeting special pipe test requirements. Moreover, one main unit can control multiple constant temperature medium chambers. The computer software automatically collects temperatures from multiple tanks, can preset the correspondence between chambers and pressure stations, and plots temperature control curves. The system also features automatic cleaning and automatic pressure relief for the solenoid valves.
Remote Control
To enable human‑machine separation, the pressure unit can be connected to a network, and the test status is uploaded in real time. Thus, operators can remotely control and view the test status from iOS/Android mobile phones, tablets, or Windows computers.
Product Composition
The product consists of three parts: a pressure unit, water tanks, and clamps. Users select each specification and model; special customization is also available.

Durable and Efficient Pump Unit
Specifically, the main pressure source uses an imported pump head and forms a self‑contained unit. Consequently, one pressure source can connect to multiple main units, improving overall efficiency.

For precise regulation, the pressure control instruments offer fast response and stable control, employing reliable mechanical gauges. In terms of output, the main pressure source delivers high pressure and a large flow rate.
Built-in Safety and Reliability Features
A key advantage is the wide pressure range, which allows energy storage pressure adjustment from 4 to 12 MPa. During operation, the system runs with low noise, remaining safe and stable. Additionally, the instrument has built‑in leakage protection. Last but not least, it features a flexible connection and quiet operation.

Constant temperature water tank
Specifically, this water tank is designed for long‑term hydro‑pressure testing of various plastic pipes. It also supports instantaneous hydraulic burst tests and determines the time‑to‑failure of thermoplastic pipes under long‑term constant pressure. For this reason, it serves as essential testing equipment for research institutes, quality inspection departments, and pipe manufacturers.
Pipe fixture: GB/T 6111-2018 Type A
This clamp is specifically designed for pipe hydro‑pressure burst testing machines. It is a Type A plastic pipe pressure test clamp that firmly secures the pipe, making it a key auxiliary tool for plastic pipe pressure testing systems. In terms of size, the clamp accommodates pipe diameters from Φ16 mm up to Φ1600 mm.
For the external structure, the clamp is forged from molds, resulting in a lightweight design with good load‑bearing capacity. The sealing silicone rings are all O‑rings. Regarding the adapter, it features a PT1/4 internal thread made of stainless steel. The clamp interface has an M12×1.25 internal thread. Additionally, the clamp vent uses a universal M10 internal thread.
