The result is expressed in force per unit area.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tensile strength at break: is calculated in the same way as the tensile strength, but using the force at break instead of the maximum force.<\/p>\n<p>Point of break:\u00a0stress and strain at the moment of specimen break.<\/p>\n<p>Yield point:\u00a0stress and strain at the curve plot point at which the gradient is zero.<\/p>\n<p>Modulus of elasticity: is an index for the stiffness of thin plastic films.<\/p>\n<p>Tensile energy to break.<\/p>\n<p>Breaking factor: is calculated by dividing the maximum force by the original width of the specimen (kN\/m).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b1bf2f3 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"b1bf2f3\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aa1be0f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"aa1be0f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Specimen<\/h4>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-194ffac elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"194ffac\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The\u00a0test specimens shall consist of strips of uniform width and thickness\u00a0at least\u00a050mm(2 in.) longer than\u00a0the\u00a0grip separation used.\u00a0The\u00a0nominal\u00a0width of\u00a0the specimens shall\u00a0be\u00a0not\u00a0less\u00a0than\u00a05.0mm(0.20in.)\u00a0or\u00a0greater\u00a0than\u00a025.4mm(1.0in.).<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0width-thickness\u00a0ratio of at least eight shall\u00a0be\u00a0used.
